Does this sound familiar?
You're not alone, and it's not too late- An old injury, surgery or joint replacement made you stop being active
- Your doctor mentioned osteopenia or bone density, and you're not sure what exercise is safe
- You've lost strength, and everyday things feel harder than they used to
- Less activity has led to extra weight that's hard to lose
- You worry about falling, or about getting hurt at a regular gym
- You have limited mobility or use a wheelchair, and assume exercise isn't for you
All ability levels are welcome, from active older adults to people with limited mobility and wheelchair users.
You don't need a crowded gym or a workout video. You need someone who will slow down, teach you, and keep you safe.

Why families trust Bo
A lifetime of working with older adultsBo grew up around older adults. His father was an occupational therapist at a nursing home, so from an early age Bo spent time working with older adults and saw how much strength, mobility and confidence matter in everyday life.
Over many years as a trainer, Bo has worked with older adults and with people with disabilities through many different agencies. Over the years he has coached active older adults and people in wheelchairs, helping people go from very limited mobility to moving around and doing things they didn't think they could do anymore. He knows how to slow down, listen, adjust and meet each person where they are.

From older adults and their familiesI have an injury. Can I still train?
Many people with past injuries train with us. We'll ask about your history and adjust exercises around it. If you have a recent injury, surgery or a medical condition, please check with your doctor first and follow their guidance.
I have osteopenia. Is strength training safe for me?
Strength training is commonly recommended for bone health, but everyone is different. Please talk with your doctor first. We'll follow their guidance, teach you each movement and progress gradually.
Can we train together as a couple?
Yes. Couples can train together in semi-private sessions. The second person gets half off: for example, at 2 sessions a week it's $70 for you and $35 for your partner.
Can you train me at home?
Yes. In-home training is available within 10 miles of the gym in Canandaigua, at $85 per session ($80 at 2x a week), with the same half-off for a partner. It's a great option if you have limited mobility or getting to the gym is difficult.
Do I need to be fit already?
Not at all. We start where you are and build up at a pace that feels comfortable.
I'm booking for my parents. How does that work?
Just give us a call. Tell us about your parents, their goals and any concerns, and we'll talk through the next steps together.
